Win your way to Winnipeg.
Friday and Saturday, Sept 30 – Oct. 1 is a two day youth leadership forum in Winnipeg. It’s part of the Rotary International Zone 24 & 32 Zone Institute.
You can be there – free.
Rotary International District 5370 is teaming up with local Rotary Clubs to send up to ten youth to this event. Will it be you? It’s easy to apply. We’re looking for young people who have already displayed leadership skills at school, secondary schooling, or in the community. This is an event that could change your life in a very positive way – and you can be there – free.
Left: Nicole and Mignon are going into grade 12 this fall at Vincent Massey High School in Brandon, Manitoba. They are both active on their student council and in their community. They registered to attend the event in Winnipeg to learn, to have some fun, to challenge themselves and to grow. Join them in Winnipeg!
Please review these details, then submit your entry before August 31, 2016.
To apply: Prior to midnight August 31, 2016 please email a “bio”. Tell us a bit about yourself. Tell us why you think you should attend this event and how you will use what you learn in Winnipeg. Include any current or previous experiences that you feel have already added to your leadership skills. The bio should be in Word or PDF format. Consider it like applying for a job. We want to take your notes and choose 10 deserving young people who we feel are “future leaders”. These 10 people will be off to Winnipeg. You do not require Rotary experiences to enter although that is an asset. Keep in mind space is limited. The sooner you apply the better.
